How we use cookies
Last updated: 16 May 2026. This page explains the cookies and similar technologies PeptideRX AU uses, what they do, and how you can control them.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. We also use related technologies such as localStorage for the same purpose — to remember your preferences and keep the site working between visits. Throughout this policy, "cookies" refers to all of these.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the site to function. They cannot be turned off in our preferences panel.
- Authentication — keeps you signed in across pages and prevents session hijacking.
- Security — helps detect abuse and protect form submissions.
- Consent storage — remembers your cookie choices on this device (the
peptiderx-cookie-prefs-v1entry).
Analytics (optional)
If you allow analytics, we collect anonymous, aggregated data about how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and how long they take to load. We use this to fix problems and improve the experience. We do not use analytics cookies to identify you personally.
Marketing (optional, off by default)
If you allow marketing cookies, we may measure the performance of campaigns that bring people to the site, and tailor messaging across other platforms. These are off by default and only loaded after you explicitly opt in.
Managing your preferences
You can change your choices at any time by clicking the Manage cookie preferences button at the top of this page (or the same link in the footer). Your choice is stored on this device — if you use another browser or device, you'll be asked again.
You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site (such as login or the assessment) from working correctly.
Third parties
Some functionality is delivered by trusted service providers (for example, hosting, error monitoring, and AI infrastructure) which may set their own strictly necessary cookies on our behalf. We don't allow them to use these for their own marketing.
